Busier than ever...

I can't believe April is half over! I keep waiting for the day for life to slow down so I can enjoy it, but I often get advice to quit waiting and enjoy what you have. I know that when my kids are grown and gone, I will be bored out of my mind, but it would be nice to have maybe a few days where I had nothing to do and no where to go so I could get something done around the house.

Ok enough whining...Isn't the sunshine FABULOUS? I have missed it for oh so long. It is so good to have it return to my life!

A few more weeks before we open up at the lake for the summer. I hope we didn't have any critters move in for the winter! Always am a little nervous to go that first time and see what is in store for us! I hope my husband did a good job of closing up last fall. That is usually the key to keeping the critters out.

Prom was last weekend. Still don't have my photos all edited yet but will post some soon for all to see. The girls these days seems to be so tall and skinny....makes me hate them just a little...and the dresses were all beautiful and of course the guys always look so handsome. Ty was "pimpin" in his tux. I will have to get those pictures done soon!

Working on putting up a fence in the backyard. You wouldn't believe the mess out there right now. Thank God for Bobcats! My hubby and his brother Dave and Reese worked last Saturday pulling out the schrubs and dead trees so we could get that all cleaned up before the fencing come ins. I hope this doesn't turn out to be an all summer project. Was hoping to get it up and finished before school is out for the summer. Let's all keep our fingers crossed.

Off to enjoy some sunshine for a little bit before our banquet tonight. Have a nice weekend!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!

Went to the cities on Friday and I found my new favorite store. IKEA!!! I purchased the most awesome bookcase for my scrapbook room. I can't wait to assemble and get my room all organized. It's going to be fabulous!

Took the kids to the MOA and went on some rides, did some shopping, and came home. Went to bed exhausted. Got up and the Easter bunny had left some treats (first year we haven't dyed eggs ever, a little sad about that) and then we headed outside because it is beautiful out and raked the yard.

Dinner at my parents and fun visiting with family.

Now off to do some homework! UUGGHHHH..........can't wait to graduate!
